The End

We have reached the end. I would like to say that it’s been a good run, but it hasn’t. If it had, perhaps I’d feel the need to continue the story, and not just end it here. As it is, there is nothing left.

I wake up each morning and go to work. No hopes except to make it through without getting fired. I spend the next 9 hours waiting for my workday to end so that I can go home. The next hour is spent in traffic, wishing it were an hour later so I’d be home. The next 4 hours are spent watching the clock, knowing that with each tick of every second I’m getting closer to having to go to bed, so that I can wake up and start the whole process again.

There is no joy. There is nothing to look forwards to. There is no potential in life that causes me to see anything to anticipate other than more pointless days.

As you can see, this makes a very boring story. It’s best to end it here rather than wasting any more of your time.

This is the end. The final page of the final chapter. This is what the entire story has been leading up to. A bit of a let down, isn’t it?

Fin.
