I decided to do the master cleanse, partly to jumpstart my weight loss, but mostly to detox before I go back to being a raw foodist.
I'd forgot that I had been planning on starting the master cleanse Monday, today, so I had breakfast around 11am. I made a two egg omlette with just jalapenos, no cheese, and put it on 2 pieces of dry toast. (Looking back, it really wasn't all that bad of a breakfast.) I then remembered that I was supposed to be starting the MC so I made the lemonade with what I had on hand: Trader Joe's grade B pure maple syrup, RealLemon bottled lemon juice and cayenne pepper. I know I'm supposed to use fresh lemon juice, and I will tomorrow, but I didn't have time to run to the store and get them and juice them. Tomorrow, I promise.
So far I feel fine. I did notice that on my way to work as I passed fast food places I got cravings, but my stomach hasn't actually had any hunger pains. I know I had breakfast, but usually by this time I would be starving.
I am really looking forward to the salt water flush!! I know that's gross, but I am excited to see how the bowel movement happens, and all that. I know that after just one day there isn't likely to be anything cool in the toilet, but I'm excited all the same.
