Yesterday around 10pm I did the first salt water flush (swf).
I was dreading the taste of the salt water, and read that many people had a really really hard time downing it, AND keeping it down. I mixed 2 level teaspoons of sea salt into 1 quart of warm water, shook it up real good, and took a sip. It was SO yummy! After the too maple-y lemonade I was craving something salty, and even though this was a bit saltier than I would have liked, I really enjoyed the taste.
About 30 minutes after finishing the salt water I felt a few rumblings in my tummy, but no strong urges to go. About 40 minutes after drinking it I felt an urge, but nothing too bad. I had read it described as an URGENT need, but for me it was just an urge. About an hour after I went to the toilet and all that came out was liquid. I sat there about 10 mins and had about 3 movements. None of them painful. After I was finished, I looked and it was a cloudy yellow liquid. About 30 mins after that I had another urge, and had more of the same.
The flush, all in all, was very easy. From the point that I finished the salt water to the point where I was done having movements it was about an hour and a half. There was no cramping or pain, as is usually associated with liquidy bowels.
